Steam comes to the valley successfully despite a snub by the press

The month of September saw the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad bringing a steam engine to pull the trains.
But if you expected to find something about it in your local paper (which brags at times about its local coverage) the powers that be must have decided it wasn't worth covering, even though thousands turned out to ride the train and both sides of the track had a steady stream of folks taking pictures of the event.
A story and photo could have even qualified for that new title that seems to swell somebody with pride:
  Beacon First.
But that's what happens when the staff is cut to the bone...and then the bosses moan about losing readers and advertisers. You to go have something to read if you're going to sell your product.
